Advent is upon us
But someone is not near
It makes us feel so gloomy
and makes us shed a tear.
With Christmas fast approaching
and a tear in our eye
we walk a path of sadness
and here I tell you why.
It all about our memories
our Children's faces too
We wander though the motions
It what we are supposed to do.
So here's a word of warning
advice if you may
Christmas joy songs for all
affects us in a completely different way.

As Christmas approaches we all have one or more missing in our extended Families ~ BUT ~ when the missing one is our Husband or Wife ~ or someone equally close ~ then the JOY & CHEER & MERRIMENT ets goes from the Season. We understand and emphasise ~ Love BRIAN
Thank you for your kind words first time I've ever written anything, the other morning this just came to me, I write notes and things I wish my late husband to know all the time achievement of our children and suchlike, but it's never come in the form of poetry xx
