  • Comment from author about the poem: POINT CLEAR ~ is in Northern California 30 miles WNW of San Francisco. ENGLAND is a Maritime Nation and we are very proud of our Shipping Heritage ~ even in an oblique way of The SS Titanic ! I was sad when I saw the oncc proud SS QUEEN MARY beached at Long Beach California ~ her former glory mothballed ! However I was even sadder to see the rusting hulk of the elegant USS POINT REYES also ironically in CALIFORNIA ! EHJOY and please shed a tear for all decommissioned ~ once proud SHIPS. Love to All ~ BRIAN XOX

Thanks "A" ~ that is true ~ the modern Cruise Liners are tacky compared with the Titanic and the Queen Mary etc. Progress seems to eliminate "Class" ~ BRIAN
