Last Christmas Eve I had a dream
Santa gave me a time machine
I climbed right in to check it out
To see what it was all about
I have to say I had to smile
As I pulled the lever and spun the dial
With a flash of light I was on my way
Back to a forgotten Christmas day
Back to when I was a growing boy
When my heart was full of Christmas joy
Christmas was so magical then
And I had that feeling back again
I bounded down the stairs to see
Underneath the Christmas tree
Toys and gifts there just for me
Oh how happy could one boy be
Then I awoke with great despair
The time machine was not there
Snow fell gently without a sound
The spirit of Christmas has been re-found

THANKS WILLY ~ GREAT PICTURE ~ We increasingly have decorated OUTDOOR TREES in the UK ~ and a great POEM. If we acknowledge the true meaning of CHRISTMAS (CHRISTUS NATUUS EST) then CHRISTMAS ~ Past ~ Present ~ Future are all very significant ~ AMEN ~ BRIAN
