I walk alone
on this dark and scary road
I start to wonder,
is there even an end?
where should I go?
do I even have a home?
is there anyone I can even trust anymore?
I walk alone
into the unknown
wondering where I'm really walking
where I'm really going
I follow the shadows
into the darkness
away from the light
away from them
I walk alone
no ones beside me
there all gone
they all left
where did they go?
I do not know
all I know is there gone
and there never coming back
I walk alone
wondering what I did wrong
to make them leave
without any explanation
they promised forever
that they'd never leave
they promised I'd always have them
when I am in need
I walk alone
with no one to turn to
I'm all alone
I have no one left anymore
will they answer,
when I call?
will they catch me,
when I fall?
I walk alone
with these scars on my wrist
people ask me where there from
my only answer is myself
you expect me,
to act like I'm happy?
when the demons inside me,
slowly consumes every part of me
I walk alone
with no one to hold my hand
I'm pretty sure they all think
I'm not even worth it
I'm only human
you should get to know me
before you judge me
cause you might just love me
I walk alone
on this dark road
I now know there is no end
and I still walk alone

What a great poem, even if the subject is sad. We must all learn to walk alone because not everybody that started with us will end with us. But from isolation can be birthed the greatest of love - for ourself. When the right people begin to walk with you they will be blown away by your strength, and you will have learned that you don't need to lean on anyone else xx
