Above the toys of the season

Let us not forget it's true reason

A child born one starry night

To bring God's holy light

To a dark and lost Earth

With this baby's birth

 

May we take joy

May we take heed

To the gift given to you and me

Christ was born

For the world to save

So let's praise him

This Christmas day

 

The toys are nice

The electronics are cool

Store bought gifts

But in the clutter

In the noise

Remember it all started

With one baby boy
