A world so full of struggles
And your expected to be strong
Depression overwhelming
Questioning if you belong
Trying to break the chains
That bounds me to the suffering
Trying to learn how to breathe
When i feel like I'm suffocating
The walls are closing in
But my strength is resisting
I have something to fight for
My remedy to depression
You've always been the reason
That shines light through my darkness
There's no me without you
I'll protect you through the darkness
I know you suffer like me
Please know you are not alone
When your vision goes black
I'll be strong for us
I'll fight all the demons
And protect you from the fire
Hold you through the storm
And lay with you when your tired
Give guidance when you seek it
Love you how you need it
Kiss you how you like it
And annoy you because you love it.
