The Garden

There in the backdrop of beauty

Pristine and crisp

Was an unopened door

Upon examination it would seem

Curious

Something to explore

But perhaps

The wisest thing

Is merely a contemplation

And not

Actual exploration

For that which

Once opened

Can never be unopened again

Pristine and crisp

With a mirrored

Sharp edge

Reflects sharply

The entry way

To the garden

Thanks for sharing STEPH ~ beautiful contemplation. In my experience some things (In Life and Love) some things are best enjoyed "FROM A DISTANCE !" Hugs ~ BRIAN.

Contemplation is a good thing, but we must take care not to let it limit us; for sometimes we can get lost in the contemplation alone and look at life just through the lens of our mind's eye rather than actually taking the plunge and experiencing and exploring. Great piece! xx
