My Parents belong to the generation (60 ~ 70's) where they have a long
Christmas List and send out (and receive) over 100 Cards and Letters !
Although my DAD now sends the Overseas Cards and Letters by EMAIL !

- Comment from author about the poem: In the UK ~ because of the cost of postage ~ more of us are now sending Christmas Greetings and our Christmas Newsletter by e-mail or hand delivering to neighbours and at Church etc ! The Older Generation (60+) still have Christmas Lists and a Christmas Letter to share the exploits of their Children & Grandchildren with lots of pictures. My MUM uses the Cards as decorations ~ on strings round the room ! The problem with e-cards is (even when you print them) they are too flimsy to stand up ! This is why the Seniors (65+) all still post lots of cards and us Youngsters increasingly send e-cards especially overseas. Do you still send CHRITMAS CARDS & LETTERS & CALENDERS etc or do you consider them an anachronism ? Comments Welcome ~ Happy Christmas to All ~ BRIAN XOX
