To
each
and every
one of you at
My Poetic Side
who reach out with
a line or two of verse
with pride: I feel welcomed
'mongst friends to play a small
part in adding something penned
to this special wall of art. Oh, such a
group of writers to gather here some to
snoop, others who will whoop, with lighter
to brighter cheer. To each and every one of
you demonic-sardonic, silly-sick, wicked acrostic
and depressed–crazy-mazy, erotic and oversexed–
lyric-satiric, sarcastic-bombastic, sweet, love smitten-
heart quickened, brain teasing, large and small– scary-
teary, rhythm pleasing,
and rhyme blessed–
I wish you All, A
Very Merry
Christmas.

Thanks "A" for a very special "shaped" poem wit a wonderful theme of "Heartfelt Happiness" at Christmas ! Your Friend as always BRIAN ! Please check my SF Poems about CYGNUS 3 ~ Thanks B
I did not express it well in the poem but I feel a sense of acceptance, understanding, love and friendship from the MPS community. Thanks for your kind remarks.
I love the word bombastic! You covered everything, but the kitchen sink...hahaha. Merry Christmas to you too Augustus!
I was a little worried some might read some of the perjorative words, stop and not read the rest. Getting words with the right length and right order to fit the shape of a tree was frustrating. When I would come up with something clever, the line would over run or not be long enough. Thanks.
That ran through my head when I was reading it I agree but you did an excellent job. Great, great Christmas card😉
Merry Christmas, A! I love what you've managed to do here: it is very difficult to get the shape without compromising the message you've written. A brilliant break from the norm and a festive treat to read. Great work xx
Thanks for appreciating the difficulty with shape and positive comments.
Stunning artwork and well penned. Very creative work, Augustus. Have a very Merry Christmas. Keep the talent flowing.
Oh Wow, Sharon. You are a dear.
What an excellent poem and how you shaped it was incredible! Merry Christmas to you, Augustus!
