I Will Rise

Meet me where I am 

this lonely bridge is cold

I'm drifting away

I dream of touching you once more

I want to feel you in my soul

why did you say goodbye? 

remember the love we shared?

was it all a lie?

part of me like breathing

now half of me is left

Will you meet me one last time?

A proper goodbye...

I will never see

I will rise once more

and have the last laugh

you did not break me

      Brian,
      Thank you! Through the heartbreak came an inner strength I didn't realize I had. Why the goodbye? Not sure I will ever know.
