Ring a Ding Ding

izzo

She left

She left not only once

but twice

the first time wasn't too nice

and the other with cowardice

I thought I was a disgrace

but it was the "maternal" one who couldn't say anything to my face

I was alone

because she wouldn't pick up the phone

Although, someone did

Jesus Christ

someone who died for my sins

and who rose again

Now I am loved

I came home

to my father

the one who picked up the phone

  • Comment from author about the poem: My mother abandoned me younger for drugs. I hated her. Actually, I hated her for years for doing that to me and my family. Just recently, I found that this hatred inside of me was not helping me do what I love, helping others. There was only one who could actually help me, Jesus Christ himself
