Whittling away an image
Watch the pieces
Fall, only sometimes
Mostly, down time
When pools of sand begin to form
Self reflection, sinking abrasion
What personality is from intention?

- Comment from author about the poem: Late night worrying is the worst. You constantly get stuck thinking about the past and future. What you could be, what you want to be, and why you do things. In the present, you're in control. However, sometimes, you lose that luxury.

WELCOME KHSU ~ Thanks for your first poem ~ A nicely penned septet with a challenging subject ! This is my experience too ~ whenever I have LATE NIGHT THOUGHTS ! One despairs of the past and is fearful for the future. I can think of better things to do "Late at Night" than THINK ! Yours BRIAN ~ Please check my poems ~ thanks B.
