PARSNIPS ARE SWEET SUCCULENT & SOFT ~ DELICIOUS

PARSNIPS ~ sweet and succulent ~ delicious
ALWAYS peel well ~ dice and boil until soft
REMEMBER Parsnips are a delicate vegetable
SO never fry or roast ~ it destroys the flavor
NEVER use potatoes in soup it is too starchy
I ALWAYS use Parsnips so sweet and smooth
PARSNIPS can be served with butter ~ with
SAUSAGES ~ ham ~ beef ~ lamb & even HAGGIS

Beans are rich in iron and FIBER
Enjoy them with or for any meal
Always boil before eating!
Navy beans can be made into
Soup with ham and it's delicious!

You're the apple of my eye
You're strawberry fields forever
You're my pumpkin' pie
You're a hot tomato
You're my snappy little bean
You're a cool cucumber
You're the peaches in my cream
You’re the blueberries on my pancakes
You’re the onion that makes me cry
You’re the top banana
You’re my cherry pie, in the sky
You’re everything I wanted
You’re everything in between
You’re everything I needed
You’re just peachy keen
A parsnip?! For this I have never tried!
But asparagus? It makes me smile so bright.
It is so long and so slender
Cook with olive oil 'til nice and tender.
Sprinkle some sea salt
Across these green stalks.
My favorite part is the tip
It looks funny just a little bit
But this veggie is the best
My asparagus.
LEEKS ARE THE NATIONAL VEGGIE OF WALES !

LEEKS are long ~ leeks are nice ~ cook and
EAT with spuds or chips or rice !
EVERY LEEK is a meal in itself ~ slice and
KEEP them in the freezer ~ never on the shelf.
SERVE them with sauce & hard boiled eggs or by themself !
