Dangerously Beautiful

Dford1

My eyes continuously divert to your presence,

as you generously blanket the tree tops visible in the distance.

Your soft, white, stream of gelid-winter flakes immerse me.

Just as the fires dance, does the frigid waters display a welcoming performance.

You are, as soft, and beautiful as you are dangerous.

In an instant, your impressive abilities, cannot only abduct my heart, but my being.

So, bundle up, my friends, its cold outside!

WELCOME DEE ~ Thanks for a very elegant and beautiful first poem. I like the way you anthropomorphise the snow ! Snow is very beautiful and each snowflake a unique hexagonal star ! It also blankets a cold grey landscape in pure white ~ awesome ! You have introduced us into the "Treasures of the Snow" with a perfect maiden poem. Thanks for caring & sharing ! Yours BRIAN
