As I open the door and tried to escape,
A voice in my head said "Wait"
So, I walked back in and on the table, sat a white plate.

- Comment from author about the poem: This poem actually is true. I was angered by my brother. He had upset me. So, I go for a walk, but there was a voice that had stopped me and the voice said "wait". So I stepped foot back in my home and I turned around and there was a plate, and it had my favorites on it. The only way I would stay home, was if there was food on that table waiting for me to eat it.

I want readers to understand that I love food.....Period. But when you put ALL of my faves on a plate, for ME, I be really thankful.
To the point. To esvape a known world in ones mind through poetry is a hreat first step. A white plate sits empty. But souls will be filled.y griend keep it up.
Do you like it ?
I did like it. Still do.

WELCOME LIYAH ~ Thanks for your first poem ~ short but it make a valuable point ! Things and remarks (especially within families) do upset us and sometimes we have to walk away ! But the morale of your poem is that we should be aware of all the blessings of home and return as soon as possible. Thanks for sharing ~ Yours BRIAN.
Ohhh thank you !! Thanks for understanding. I think my family is worse than yours,
THANKS LIYAH ~ Families are Families ~ The Good ~ Bad ~ Ugly ! I try to see the GOOD in my Family and forgive the BAD & the UGLY ~ Every Blessing ~ BRIAN
