Salt in my Wounds!

Salt in my Wounds

Though salt suggests pain, it also sears.

In other words, it heals.

That’s what we seek isn’t it?

Little to no suffering.

Especially when something beautiful steps forth, sacrificing vulnerability.

As we find ourselves devoid of human companionship, with copious futility!

THANKS FOR SHARING DEE ~ SALT like FIRE (see AUGUSTUS' POEM) is a Paradox. It stings (on an open wound) but it also sterilises ! No GAIN without PAIN ! The same in Life & Love out of a seemingly painful experience ~ SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL STEPS FORTH ~ AMEN ! Yours as always BRIAN.
