Gone Like The Wind

leovibes

When times were simple

And life was easy

Without the stress

Without the pain

These were the days

When I was young

When I was naive

To the cruelty of living

As the years went by

And my name became older

I faded away in the solitude of loneliness

And here I struggle wth the qeustion of strength

Should I push to the end?

Or shall I make my own fate...?

I'm just keen on simplicity in this poem. I think simplicity of pithy literal pieces turns me on! It's like drinking PasiĆ³n Azteca in a cheap mug. It's still the best tequila!

Here's hoping your using your skills to write somebody else's life and not your own . If so quite a skill

WELCOME LEO ~ Thanks for your first poem ~ Elegant in Structure ~ Challenging in Subject ! We only get ONE LIFE and despite the stress & solitude (which we all experience) personally I feel it is best to see it through to the end ! Where ther is LIFE there is still HOPE. Thanks for sharing ~ please check my Poems ~ Yours BRIAN (UK)
