Lost

Naeners

I'm lost

I can't make my way back

I can't find myself

I don't know when I lost track

I'm lost

I can't live like this

I can't keep on fighting

I don't want to fall into the abyss

I'm lost

I can't

I just can't

I don't have the will to care

I'm lost

  • Comment from author about the poem: I showed this to a few people I know online and I've gotten mixed reviews on ending it with just "I can't" because it breaks the rhyme, but I like it. What's your opinion?

wonderful write ~ you asked about breaking the rhyme. it never even occurred to me because i was so caught up in the passion of the words that you convey so eloquently here.

Thank you so much! I was hoping that people would be able to see it the way I meant it and I'm glad it worked out.

I've defiantly felt this before. I hope you make it through. Great poem! ~Bella

Thank you! I'm actually a pretty happy person now(although I have my moments) I just sometimes write poems of the way I used to feel. It keeps the depression at bay : )

              I totally understand that!
