Fare thee well my friends, for I must be gone.
I've been accepted for a clinical trial.
Though I roam hospital halls
I'll reenter this domain.
Though I roam through many aisles my friends,
Though I roam through many aisles.

- Comment from author about the poem: I am hoping to be back shortly after a brief hospital stay. There is a bit of plagiarism here as this was inspired by Peter J. Wilhousky's, The Turtle Dove. It was a tenor solo that has remained tucked away in my brain since 1956. "Fare you well, my dear, I must be gone, And leave you for a while; If I roam away I'll come back again, Though I roam ten thousand miles, my dear, Though I roam ten thousand miles."

Bad penny returns. Thanks.
Forward and onward and here is to you and your words and to a speedy return!
Returned broken but returned. Will give it a shot. Thanks.
Oh crap. Sorry about that.
🙃
Lovely bit of prose and my thoughts are with you.
Thanks Michael. That helps a lot.
Sending every best wish for your speedy return from hospital stay my friend - the verse flowed with all the poignancy of the pictured turtle dove - a lovely read.
You are very kind. Thanks.
Both are Absolutly
Beautiful ...
Till next we meet
I say to thee
I'll count the days
And each hour spent
Until we meet again...
You will be in my
Thoughts friend...

Thank you Tony. Must be close to planting season for you.
Welcome, close it is
Good God Augustus my heart is with you. Keep writing.
Just could not write for 2 weeks. The muse is just starting to open an eye for a little while.
it wont be like that forever, there is an eternity. make the best of whats to come. I pray for you. Good luck.
Easier said than done. I try. But something bigger than I takes over my mind no matter how hard I try to be positive. I am coming around a little.
nothing evil is bigger than you if you simply have a strive to be something good. when light enters the room, all darkness must vanish. And when good is fed to people, they eat it up, dropping every reason to cling to evil, for they now have something else to cling too, bigger than the universe... GOOD. Even the stars bring hope. haha Keep coming around i beg of you, your happiness may be right around the corner, dont give up
I like your idea about the stars lightting up the world. May give that a try. Thanks for the tablespoon of good. I feel nourished by the thought.
