A dilemma...
I have a dilemma, each day that I ask,
Myself, my life, as I walk wearing this mask.
Would I change the terrible time, when I was young,
to throw out the evil, and have a normal life run.
No weight I would carry, no fear I would find,
I could then have, a normal child's mind.
Listen and learn, the lessons they tried to teach,
get to the potential, I know I could then reach.
The dilemma I have, is if I then changed my past,
Would the future I'm at, still then come to pass.
You see without my children, my grandkids and loving wife,
I wouldn't have, this happy and beautiful life...
Have i traveled this rocky road,
To appreciate what I have today.
For This love I now feel,
Builds me whole, in every way..

- Comment from author about the poem: I've not posted for a few days As I've been writing and illustrating My scrapbook poem story " Ellie lapage, female mouse detective and part time opera singer " I've almost finished it. Added some New characters, a mouse sergeant And his deputies.. oh and Ellie has A mousefriend (boyfriend) called Perfect Paul, he loves to pump the Iron but knows nothing else at all.. I've just sat and wrote this poem "a dilemma" as I had my family Around Earlier and we had a conversation About what we would change in our Lives if we could. Made me think..

It is great to have a loving family and I am sure they are grateful for you!
They laugh at me sometimes
As I can get a bit over zealous
About the things I love and believe
In.... but I am Me and hope that
People like what they see. Thank you WBL for those lovely comments...
