A day that was unforgettable
Unforeseen and startling to me
A day the doors opened up
Granted access to never before seen
The day you strode into my life
Never to leave again
The scariest day
A day in hell
Was only to begin
You came right in with brashness
Arrogance, brazen down to core
You only stayed for that little while
But I knew I needed more
You sparked my interest swiftly,
Had my heart racing oh so much
You had your grasp on me
I was forever in your clutch
Forever in your shadows
Forever only yours
Forever hidden
Away from others
Behind those secret doors
This secret world was enticing
Alluring to say the least
But it is within this world...
To me
You revealed...
The untamed beast
A façade of beauty and brilliance
Magnificent in size
It was the overpowering sway
And that tantalizing pride
Your deceptions lured me in
And the shadows kept me there
Just like so many before me
All so utterly unaware
Then you swallowed up our souls
One by one we simply became you
The façade that veiled
Your 1 true hell
Imminent and on cue
