One Wish

elphaba993

If I had one wish

It would be this:

I pray my daughter

Never feels this brokenness.

That she stays whole

And happy

And never doubts her worth

Or how much she's loved.

I pray that she takes all my broken pieces

And learns from them

Before she ever has to break.

I pray that she

Does all the things I never could.

From your heart - no doubt. All they need are your love and your time. If your poem reflects your inner heart she will be blessed. Loved it. - Phil A.
