It's because your eyes have caught my own and I can't look away
When I hold you close and it feels like I might never let you go
It's because I wish that time would stop and we could disappear
When we share a kiss and it makes me feel this powerful connection
It's because there are euphoric storms that inundate my mind
When I write a Valentine's card for you and it turns into a poem
It's because I can't hold back the emotion pouring from my soul
When I write to say "I miss you" and "can't wait to see you soon"
It's because each day we spend apart feels like a million years
When I think about the future and spending my life with you
It's because of how you fill my thoughts and inspire my hopes and dreams
And when I tell you how I feel and hope you feel the same
It's because I'm hopelessly in love with you and forever wish to be
