THAT'S THE GLORY OF ~ THAT'S THE STORY OF ~ LOVE
FALLING IN LOVE ~ suggests
A STATE of helplessness !
LIKE A PERSON ~ who trips and falls
LIKE A PERSON ~ who falls from a height !
IN MY EXPERIENCE it is often unexpected
NOTHING PREPARES YOU ~ for the first time
GETTING A PANG ~ where you never had a PANG before !
I FIRST "FELL IN LOVE" @ 16 with the GIRL ........
NEXT DOOR ! Convenient ~ BUT ~ too Young & too Close !
LOVE at First & Second & Third sight ~ I guess
OTHER TIMES ~ It was sight ~ sound ~ scent and savour
VERY SELDOM was it an Intellectual attraction ~ well ....
EDUCATED LADIES are both a Blessing and a Threat ?
AGAIN ? Don't we all "Fall IN and OUT of LOVE" ?

Falling in Love is a minefield and often we turn on all our senses ~ except COMMON SENSE ! In the UK ~ when we still live at Home ~ Mothers take on the role of both Matchmakers & Matchbreakers ~ Dads offer comments purely based on Physical Appearance ! Without love and "making love" the Human population of Planet Earth would gradually decrease to ZERO and the MONKEYS (I'm not talking about the TRUMP Administration !) would be back in charge ~ Planet of the Apes! Great write. Love is a lottery and my cards always seem to be the loosers. Love is a mine field and I keep stepping on those mines and getting blown up. Sorry just something that popped in my mind

Did you know that only 200 years ago Valentines Day was used for people to send dead animals to each other as 'hate' gifts .
How times have changed to today's commercially driven rubbish .
