I see how tired you are
I see our money situation is tight
I notice the games you miss because of the extra hours you work
I see the exhaustion your body shows
your back hurts, I know
your knees hurt, I see it
I hear how much you care dad.
mom told me that you want to pick up a part time job
my aunt told me how much it hurts you when we argue
I know dad.
I know that you work a difficult job with hard hours
I know that you do your best to make it to my games
I know that you support me more than anyone
I know that you care so much about me
I know that you love me, you don't have to say it
I’m sorry dad.
I’m sorry that I ask for money all the time
I’m sorry that I ignore how hard you work to provide for our family
I’m sorry that I don’t always make the best decisions
I’m sorry that I choose to be with my friends, rather than you
I love you dad.
I love how hard you work
I love what you do for our family
I love that you give me more, when you don't have any to give
I love you so much dad
I want nothing more than to make you proud
You’ll never truly know how much I love you
