Painted face

Crow.

My painted face

Is all you see

hiding my

true feelings

you can't see past it

it is my perfect  disguise

my painted face

it is all than

you can see

you don't even try

to see past it

you don't even try

to save me

my painted face

you think it's

really me

when can someone

see past

my painted face

Thanks for caring and sharing KLOKAT (great pen name !) We all hide behind something ~ Ladies behind carefully chosen and applied "make up" and Men behind close cropped hair (No. 1's & 2's) dark glasses ~ beards and perfect teeth. We all wear masks to be ~ incognito ~ and hide the real inner person. Only by "getting to know you" and you "getting to know me" would I meet and know the real YOU and in turn YOU know the real ME. It takes time for the mask to be removed and the INNER PERSON ~ the REAL PERSON to be revealed. In my experience it is mostly worth the effort. what is your experience ? Yours BRIAN (UK)
