Silent Screams

alivia

I sit here with a clogged mind,

cant seem to stop thinking .

im doing it all day and night,

my sleep is limited .

by a small wage of time,

but I'm screaming inside.

can you hear me?

you look at my eyes,

but you look through them

not inside.

you ask how my day went,

i say fine.

im not the one to burden you.

I know you have other things

to do with your time.

but sometimes I wish you cared

because after all isn't that why family's there?

Families can seem to be uncaring sometimes, that is where good friends fill the void. Good write.

Very true, but good friends are hard to come by and very rare.
