Looking Back!

Looking Back

My eyes remain closed as I encouraged calm to lend a hand.

The sounds of ‘Shame on the Moon’ plays in the background.

Although the intro is reminiscent of a horse trotting; I’m in, nonetheless.

It’s amazing how a song might depict your soul.

So much so, we choose to ‘own’ them.

Or perhaps, they’ve claimed us.

I begin to relax as I enjoy the solitude, while reflecting on paths and final destinations.

Visualizing glimpses of fading memories and stolen faces.

Hopeful, it’s within the heaven’s they dwell.

Wandering about the gardens, where righteousness is housed.

And evil —swept away.

While the angels swarm the gates, and the children—play!

Heavenly, listening to meaningful music. I'd add a glass of wine for me personally. Nicely done.
