Remember when Life was so simple

I remember when life was so easy and I was a child.

We thought that it would always be so good and so mild.

Cannot remember when it all became so sad.

Was at that time I knew, it should not be so bad.

It harden my heart and changed me ever so neatly.

And I was converted and damaged so completely.

How to go back when your mind and soul has been so changed

Begin to heal the life that was lost and feel it regained.

It was then I looked around and found family and friend

Realized I should do my best and try never to  offend.

It came to me then I knew that only love is the key.

Also I knew it was from God and not me!

So now I look at it with a smile and dimple.

Can the whole thing, I mean life, was so simple.

Live and love with a heart of kindness.

To forgive and care without the blindness.

With this one can feel so fully fulfilled.

Not from me, but from God's wholesome will.

Again I say with a smile and dimple.
