Sometimes I Just Don't Know

poetboy5454

Sometimes I just don't know

Here, I'm just writing just for show

Lying back, staring at the sky

Deep inside, I let out a sigh

I can feel it, I know it's there

Despite the shining horizon, it's in the air

This gloomy feeling tries to dominate

I refuse to be conquered to this fate

Open the blinds, let in the light

Wipe off the dust, hear the birds sing

Whatever is coming, I'll stand and fight

Of my destiny, I am the king

Pain will come, for some it never leaves

Perhaps foolheartedly, I'm ready to take the chance

Hardships will come, and I may grieve

Yet the truth will be my unwavering stance
