“I think this is what we all want to hear: that we are not alone in hitting the bottom, and that it is possible to come out of that place courageous, beautiful, and strong.”
― Anna White, Mended: Thoughts on Life, Love, and Leaps of Faith
You’re not alone
Though you are traveling, across the norm
through a world of exposure,
you are not alone,
there are many different creatures, different
paths you can take or
to decide to take.
The choice is always yours
the choice is never right or wrong for
that there are
for you,
illness doesn’t make
you.
May that it tries to break through, your outer body,
but it cannot break your inner mind, your story that
has
connected you to the only thing that
affects a belief.
But understand you’re not alone
in this,
I just don’t know you yet,
or how to get to you.
YOU ARE NOT alone.
So breathe,
Relax
And attack your dream.
I will be waiting.
Cause you are not alone.

- Comment from author about the poem: I really enjoyed this story. I feel that this poem is very important. There are some many people who do not know that they have people out there and they need a person to care for them. Well they are not alone in my book. XOXO Jimmie.
