Redemption Revealings

Fits tune: St Fulbert

('Ye choirs of new Jerusalem')

Based on part of Revelation Chapter 5

**********

Worthy the Lamb, to John revealed

A scroll with seven seals sealed

Christ as the Lion, Lamb, only

Those seals could break and free

To set earth's future, destiny

He, Lamb, that scroll took, see

Yet having power of Lion strong

Amid the angelic throng

He, Lamb of God, we to Him sing

Honour and praises bring

For He redeeming work has done

He the atoning One

So endless worship pours out forth

From east, west, south, and north

Earth, heaven, sea, the countless host

Do make in Christ their boast

Their boast that He them has redeemed

In sin, darkness, there beamed

Christ's light, the light of life is He

Through Him we now may see

See by the eye of faith the scene

Of glory, not small, mean

But scene of heaven perfectly

Where endless worship be

For all do worship with loud voice

With words, songs, hope, rejoice

In adoration their love sure

To Him who saves e'ermore

Power and riches, wisdom strength

Praise unmeasured, no length

They give Christ honour, glory too

And blessings as His due

    Thanks Tony, Augustus.

Thanks all. It's metaphors. Christ is a Lamb and a Lion. There'll be plenty of noise there in heaven, but no babble or waffle - unlike me sometimes?! lol.

    Good write once more

    "Revelation 2:17

Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give that person a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to the one who receives it."
