Ink and drawings of a Troubadour

Emil Cerda

"Just as there are thousands of species in the Sea, so life is unknown, not because we don't know who they are, but because we don't know who we are.

"In the foolish sentiment of a ruffian, there is my attitude. Drunk with nostalgia, even the Moon laughs at me.

"What shall I do of this damned gloomy despair, kill me, or drown me?!

"As long as I see these people walking in their own ego, the sands will dissolve through my tears.

"I fear the unknown, that's why
each
        time
             that
                  I cry,
                        I speak
                                 ... with Death...".

HOLA EMIL ~ WELCOME TO MPS ~ Gracisa por tu prima poema. It i ery true what you say ~ in essence we do not really know who we are ! It should NOT necessarily lead to DESPAIR but to RESOLVE as we seek to find out who we really are ! We should not FEAR the unknown but rather seek with our whole body ~ mind ~ spirit to be ALIVE and seek out answers to all of life's difficult questions. We HUMANS are all equipped to not only ask QUESTIONS ~ but also to find ANSWERS ! You will find MPS a very supportive site ~ Every Blessing BRIAN (UK) Please check my poems ~ Thanks B

GOD bless you, i'm Christian. This poem contains: prosopopeya, complex metaphor, baroque style ... what I want to leave said through this, is that we have options to choose, if in truth to go ahead or stay in misery. My native language is Spanish, I do not know much to write or speak English.

It is really refreshing to hear a new voice of poetry through someone who's own speech differs from mine. Keep it up, you've clearly got plenty to say.
