Crows gaggle on a wire
In the silent falling snow
Mind wandered through a portal
To, a long, long, time ago
You were in the great room
In a castle on a hill
The minstrels played a melody
Time was standing still
The sun was setting in the dale
Late in the afternoon
You were dancing ‘round
The candle light so bright
I saw that sparkle in your eyes
Your soul a brilliant light
You touched my soul
So long ago
And once again tonight
The crows fled the wire
Snow stopped coming down
You were there I saw you
When I turned around
I saw that sparkle in your eyes
Your soul a brilliant light
You touched my soul
So long ago
And once again
tonight
