Fits tune: Serenity
('Immortal love, forever full')
Based on part of Psalm 32
*********
Blessed they whose sins forgiven are
Whether from near or far
Near Jews, far Gentiles, all may share
In this sweet heavenly fare
Blessed they whose sins imputed not
To them, they have better lot
The Lord He counts their sins not, so
Forgiveness, grace, they know
My sin I acknowledged unto you
Lord, you knew my state true
As I confessed, you came to my aid
My ransom-price have paid
You forgive, forget, in you I hide
In your love, comfort, reside
As we repent, we do decide
To your presence confide
For you will instruct, teach us the way
We should go on each day
Your eyes shall be upon us sure
To guide us evermore
Many sorrows to wicked shall be
But trust in the Lord shall we
And so find mercy, gladness and joy
Our praises to Him now employ
