45 rpm And Spin.

kevin browne

shake a little in the shower
end up dancing on your ass
drip dry then read the notes
play the piano on your back
turn the vinyl 45 rpm and spin
shake a little more
cut some rug with a grin
magic tribe get the jive
music always loves you
in your head a steady beat
hold your heart hold the wait
nothing won't ever stop you
start again rock around a clock
I love the blues which never hurts
ballads holds the key to your heart
and jazz built the thirties
crotchets and quavers deserve a tune
and I want a quadruple whole note for dinner
Elvis Presley sang runaway live whilst on tour
in the crowd Del Shannon watched
wearing Elvis shoes dancing on the floor.
