Rebel

DaveG

I rebelled when they tried to tell me who I was

I rebelled when they said what I could do

I strived to be me, young full of dreams

I did what I wanted with energy and time to spare

I lived how I wanted or so it seemed

I said what I thought

My life was mine to live not for others to dictate

My daighter I advise

To my daughter I give my opinion

Her life do I plan

Her feeling do I try and control

Do I show surprise when she shouts MY CHOICE
