The Illusion So Bright

letmefly.2017

Just open those shutters that trap in the night,

Rainbow particles glimmer reflection of light,

It's all an illusion as sky reflects sea,

Every beautiful flower and strength of a tree.

A caterpillar hides in the green of a leaf,

Forming cosy cocoon in the earth far beneath,

Camouflaged from the light remains largley unseen,

So many changes a miracle from plainness of green.

One day dawn breaks the sun shines bright,

Sleepy green it emerges as a bursting of light,

A transformation of wonder as time passed us by,

A rainbow reflection of beauty your wings butterfly.

      Thank you.
Beauty flares in eyes that do behold, a finch is many colours including gold.
