You Did Nothing

Naeners

I told you I was hurt
Abandoned and afraid
Dying from an inescapable pain
I told you it was horrible
You didn't bat an eye

You did nothing

I told you life is worthless
It's just a stupid game
That apathy was soon to be all that remained
I told you I was sorry
You didn't seem to mind

You did nothing

I told you goodbye in my note
The pills will end the pain
Maybe you'll miss me when I'm gone
I laughed at the thought
You didn't care about me

You did nothing

  • Comment from author about the poem: I uploaded this before but I wasn't completely happy with it I rewrote a few bits and I think it's better now. I'm working on writing from another's prospective and I think this is good. Please tell me what you think. Constructive criticism is always welcomed.

Sometimes others just stand by watching on as someone gets hurt, most people are good though and will offer help. Good emotive write.
