His body

Jessica

His body is like a work of art,

his taste of tranquility sails onto my tongue.

His body is like a work of art,

his words danced around to the sweet songs that we sung.

His body is like a work of art,

frosted eyes that captured my soul,

a trance of lust overwhelms me.

His body is like a work of art,

hands that colonised my anatomy,

lips that make the ocean waves roll.

His body is like a work of art,

in which he rendered extreme emotion that embedded itself into my heart.

His body is a work of art.

  • Comment from author about the poem: This is the first poem I've really ever written seriously. I wrote this poem about someone who to me, is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. He makes my body feel like a delicacy, and to me his is the only piece of artwork i've ever seen true beauty behind.

WELCOME JESSICA (lovely name) Thanks for sharing your first poem. Love the structure and subject of your elegant poem and the repetition of "His body is a work of art" just to make sure we got the message. Looked at through the eyes of LOVE the naked male human body can be just as beautiful as the female. Although as straight Man I see the Male Body as an Art Work and the Female Body as an object of emotion ~ just as you see the Male Body ~ OK ! You highlight his taste ~ his words ~ his eyes ~ his hands and his embedding within your heart. In relation to my Female Lover (Angela) I can relate to all that ! Thanks for caring & sharing ~ BRIAN (UK). Please check my poems ~ Thanks B

Thank you so much! Having a comment like this means the world as it's the first one I've ever really felt emotion behind. Being so young and trying to find a way to express myself that people understand is a complex task. But knowing people understand my thoughts and emotions brings joy and delight. Thank you once again!
