Silence

JustWatchingTheWorld

Silence fills my mind
The world passes by
The world is drenched in colors and emotion
And my eyes just shift from person to person
Just watching, just looking
Wanting to stand, wanting to speak
My silence is a lie

Wanting to go feel free but not take risks
Wanting to speak but not say the wrong thing
Wanting to be an someone but be myself
How is it possible? How do you be someone you want to be?
Silence fills my mind not knowing the answer
Time passes by yet I'm still here, just looking
Just looking as the world goes by
Just sitting in the silence, not doing a thing
Trying to be more of a "normal person"
But at the end of the day, I'm just me

I've felt that way before too. But you are yourself, and eventually you find how to put that into words and actions. 🙂

Good write. "Just me" is unique as each of us are.
