Donkey

Tony36

We have a donkey

Just showed up one day

We have a donkey

Wondered onto the farm

No one's called  no one's claimed

  • Comment from author about the poem: One day I went out to check the cows. I was just riding along and I noticed something at the bottom of the hill. At first I thought it was a cow, then I realized it was to skinny to be a cow and it's face was to long to be a cow. So I then thought maybe it was a horse. However the closer I got I soon dawned on me what was there. The next day I put an ad in the paper saying I had found a lost donkey. It's been three months and still no one has called. I guess he's mine now. Find this poem and many more at tanders -tma.blogspot. com

True, now if I can just get him to stop chasing the cows and baby calves
