What if I didn't look the way I do?
Then, would you love me?
What if I told you I appreciate you
Would you love me?
What if I told you that I can't look you in the eye when I am talking to you, because I don't want it to end
Then, would you love me?
What If I told you that I reminisce every moment we've shared through every passing day, just to feel close to you
Then, would you love me?
What if I told you that I practically hold my breath every time I see you with her hoping to blackout and wakeup never remembering that I ever loved you?
What if I looked like her?
Even then, would you love me?.

- Comment from author about the poem: This is about a boy I felt a deep connection with, I'm not sure if its love or just a phase or rational emotions.

WELCOME JOY ~ Thanks for your first poem ~ which I found both interesting an challenging. My answer ~ if asked those questions by you ~ would be YES to every one. Because you seem like a very sincere Young Lady. Yours BRIAN (UK). Thanks for REAL TIME to show the development of your poem. Please check my poems ~ Thanks B
Thank you, I'll make sure to check out some of your work.
I really like the closing two lines. A final sad realisation beautifully worked up to. They are almost vivid enough to stand alone. Well done.!
Thank you. Glad you liked it.
