Did he Fall or...... ?

Garry

Me and Johnny in the garden

Playing on the shed

Johnny falling, falling, falling

bleeding from his head

……….

Johnny on the tarnac

Colour it red

…….

Johnny lying in the garden

I think he's dead.

  • Comment from author about the poem: Exactly what it says on the tin. But did he fall or was he pushed? No wonder my pupils think I'm a budding serial killer!

It is colorful and with great rhyme, albeit, sad.

Sad but also some dark humour? Or is that just me being wierd

Good write even if the subject is macabre.

I like the contrast of a light happy rhyme over the darker subject.

I have to admit the librarian at school has told me my students are right to think i have issues. But what does she know.
