Why do these thoughts and voices ramble
Across the sands of time
Why am I searching for the secrets
In the windmills of my mind
Why are they so familiar
These things I've never seen
Is it just my imagination
From somewhere in a dream
Why are these memories woven
Into my subconscious mind
With clear recollection and a tread of gold
Do my memories and emotions
Weave the fabric of my soul ?

the fabric of your soul willyweed is showing how you have made the effort to empty it out in order to tell the world about what's inside. the soul is where everything comes from emotionally and by the looks of it, your soul is full of wonderful poetic magic. you have nothing to complain about my friend.
Thanks Kevin I am not complaining, just exploring the mind, it runs deep many nooks and crannies in there? lol thank you for taking the time to read and comment on this one, peace & love ww

Interesting questions, asked poetically, The answers vary for each of us, bur surely, our memories and our emotions indicate the weave of our souls. A great poem, Phil A.

Great question. I think they have a lot to do with our souls.
yes as some one above said they take a life time to answer? Thanks for the read my lady!
Across the sands of time these thoughts and voices ramble so wonderfully. Self is searching for secrets of life but does not know. The cause is unknown but memories are woven. Very thoughtful and expressive poem is shared.
