I Remember You

Gino

Beautiful lady,

what have you done?

You gave me

your love two-fold

You won't smile

and won't dial

but kept me in my trial,

What have you done to me?

Yes, I remember you

There a long time ago

I buried my life to you,

and never found my way back...

Oh yes, I still remember you...

Gathered onto your

open courtyard

with the stillness of the night

beckoning a final verse...

Couldn’t mask

and wouldn’t despair

from a beautiful romance

in silhouette

As old days harbored

and waited onto you,

for the peril of your days

caught up to you

And a final afternoon

of nostalgia

gathered your seasons

until your final regret...

Oh yes, you remembered me...

Swiftly gather your stuff

and keep an open diary,

for your smile

will be my only guide

With my only inspiration

desiring to fill an open timeline

left by you...

As many seasons ago

couldn't severe

my heart’s only crux,

with your only heart

saved for me...

I'll always remember you....
