Too young to know yourself.

calbreezy

My worst enemy is probably myself.

Feel like an expired product, but kept on the shelf.

Life is unfair, it can be so cruel.

In this Humongous world, I'm so small.

Different days, I feel like my time has come.

Yet all im getting told is that im too young.

"You've got your whole life ahead of you it'll get better".

Coming from mouths who supposedly know the Meta.

It's so ironic that im being told this,

From contradicting hypocrites.

Ha it's okay it'll be alright.

Hopefully before the dark I find the Light.

The light is always out there but sometimes you need to go through the darkness to find it, it is called experience. Good write.

Been too young to know and scarier to be too old know any better. Probably the hardest thing is to allow life to carry us through the turmoil. "You think too much," was often hurled. Now I think, it's better to think some than not at all. "All things in moderation," they say. And that I've managed to some degree. What is age and knowing got to do with anything, who told us such lies. Experience and living is prolly what they mean, the greater the track record the more you'll have seen. There is a saying from far up north that goes, "You'll Never Never Know, If You Never Never Go..." or some such thing. Thank you for sharing and hope this didn't sound like sermonising.
