New York With My Little Girl

magenta1

New York With My Little Girl.

Walking with you Into the night,
Making memories beneath neon light,
Our feet in sync to the city's heartbeat,
We breath the energy that lives in the streets,

Hand in hand smile to mile,
We create a song and sing for awhile,
It echoes and reverberates along the walls,
Making us giants and the city so small,

We leave our footsteps in the concrete sand,
I was captivated as you held my hand,
Past the illumination into the rhythm of Times Square,
Were we danced the flamenco without care,

Then you'd laugh and I would smile,
As you adjusted your hat with a “little girl style”,
All in Rockefeller Center beneath the Christmas Tree,
There's No place I'd rather be,
No there's No place I'd rather be,
In this great big world,
Than in New York with my little girl.
