Our Future The Past

Bryso

History is the present,

The present is the past.

If we ignore what happened yesterday,

Our civilisation cannot last.

Time may be a lie, an illusion.

A paradox, a puzzle, a pain.

But if we don’t learn its lessons,

In its past we’re doomed to remain.

Good write. Just a thought though, history was written by the winners, what if the losers were right.

Thanks for the comments. Good point about history, but I suppose if that history is more recent then we have the advantage of more than just the winners\' perspective.
