Notice of absence from SadInterior
HOLLOW
Have you ever felt alone? Have you ever
felt so much pain and sorrow that you become so hollow?
Ever felt meaningless, empty, valueless, worthless, useless, Pyrrhic, nugatory, futile and pointless?
Each night I slash at my wrists, watching the blood drip from my ever so soft skin down to the carpet in which it would stain.
My tears, they fall like rain, faster than a train. I hide my pain, my sorrow under a mask in which that mask will show a smile
but that smile wont last for a while..

WELCOME VI ~ Thanks for your first poem which is dripping with pathos and (sadly) your own blood. Depression is hard to cope with but many of our Members suffered from it as TEENS and some still do ! You will find this a very friendly and empathetic site. I trust you found sharing your poem CATHARTIC. Life generally gets better as you mature and become more responsible for your own destiny. Living in the USA can be a great blessing compared with the plight of many 15 year old Girls in underdeveloped Countries ~ so count your blessings ~ OK Thinking of you and praying for you ~ BRIAN (UK) Please check my poems ~ Thanks B
I am so shocked that this your first poem and am overwhelmed by the level of depression vibrating from your words. Great work in expressing your feelings i can definitely relate.
Thank you, I will be posting more regularly.
If anyone has any suggestions you can message me, I'll be reading and replying to all
Yes, I have been there. Depression is a hard thing to live with, but I have always found that poetry was a positive way to express the darker things I felt. It is constructive and therapeutic. I also hope you have someone you can talk to, confide in, share with. I think every human being should have a counselor, just like people have doctors. It helps us to stay sane and healthy! 🙂 I speak from experience on that. 😉 All the same, great emotive write! I hope to see more of your work in the future!
i've been there more times then not
I'm always there.
